As an option the driver is able to inform the user after a long time of
bad reception by
activating the drivers main window. You can easily select the time
period for such an alert.
If you don't want to be informed at all, then choose 'never'.

Choose Serial Port
In this box you must select the Serial Port which the Precision CLOCK
is connected to.
This list of COM interfaces is limited to the available and free serial
ports of your PC.
If the serial port of your choice for connection of the receiver is
not mentioned,
then another software program might already use this interface and
has reserved it.
The PrecisionCLOCK is not able to work at a COM port with IRQ sharing.
As standard
PCs, e.g. COM1 and COM3 both run with IRQ4.
You must assign an exclusive IRQ to the selected COM port.
List of possible ports.
FIFO Buffer
Often other problems occur when the COM port works with an activated FIFO
Buffer.
The FIFO Buffer can only be disabled in your Windows settings. In this
case the following message will inform you,
when you change the serial port for the Precision CLOCK: 'Make sure that
the FIFO Buffer is deactivated.'

Synchronisation
In this box you can select a synchronisation mode and safety
mode.
You have two possibilities for the synchronisation mode (permanently
active
and close after first synchronisation) by marking the check
box.
The second setting is a matter of safety. Please choose the maximum
difference between Received Time
and System Time which you want to allow.
