Information on the MFS transmitter

The MFS transmitter is maintained by the National Physical Laboratory and
located at Rugby (latitude 52° 22' N, longitude 1° 11' W).

It transmits AM with a power of 50 kW based on a carrier of 60 kHz.

So the signal can be received within a radius of 1,250 miles (2,000 km).
