EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) automatically communicates manufacturer specification and data between devices. This results in your AV source sending an optimised signal data to your display for the best possible performance. The information communicated usually includes manufacturer, display size and colour characteristics.

A Lindy EDID Emulator maintains constant EDID communication with source devices by providing pre-stored EDID information for various signal resolutions. All of our EDID emulators are made with high quality materials resulting in great reliability and performance.
